Prior to this he spent nearly 20 years in the hospitality industry as Managing Director of two hotels with 60 bedrooms and both were members of the sales and marketing consortium Best Western Hotels GB.
He is a qualified accountant and chartered manager and serves on the boards at Liverpool Mutual Homes and St George's Hall.
