Following a short period of unemployment after having been made redundant from my job as a service technician, I started window cleaning by helping a colleague with his round back in 2003 and then took over the round in 2004 when he moved away from the area.
In 2005 my wife decided to give up her job and work with me window cleaning.
We founded P & J Window Cleaning Services in 2005 and have expanded our range of customers to include commercial and public buildings.
We started using the pole system in 2006 which has increased the number of services we are able to offer.

The water fed pole system is a cleaning system favoured by many window cleaners.
This system incorporates the use of an extendable pole with a cleaning brush which is pump fed via a hose with ionised water from a tank carried either on a vehicle, trolley or back pack.
Unlike ordinary tap water ionised water doesn't leave spots on the glass after cleaning your windows leaving them with a crystal clear finish without the additional use of a cloth and thus reducing the risk of smearing.
The Pole system also gives the advantage of allowing access to windows otherwise inaccessible without the use of ladders or scaffolding saving on time and unneccesary expense.
