North Wales' premier dry cleaners is owned and operated by Mark Harris, who has been dry cleaning for the past 16 years. The Company was founded by Tony Johnson who trained on the world's first full time course in dry cleaning, operated his own business from 1973 up until his retirement in 2013 and still takes an active interest in the business as advisor and stand-in.
Cleaning World has been in its' present position since 1994. Mark Harris has worked in the cleaning industry for over 35 years and began assisting Tony Johnson back in 1998 regularly covering holidays and learning the intricacies of the business before accepting a part time role and finally purchasing the Company as Tony retired. In addition to general dry cleaning of suits, jackets, skirts, etc, we handle an enormous number of gowns, cocktail dresses, fancy tops and knitwear.
We process in the region of one hundred wedding dresses per year, as well as bridesmaids' and 'Mother of the bride' dresses. We are able to offer a Repair and Alteration service to a high standard.

Attempting a home remedy of any description on a grease/oil/fat/stain rarely works.
If it is washed, it can alter the molecular structure and then make it difficult to remove - even by dry cleaning.
You could ( if you so choose ) change the engine oil in your car and wipe up all the spilled black oil with your jacket.
If you had the jacket dry cleaned, there would be no trace whatsoever of the oil.
HOWEVER, should you catch the same jacket on the car door lock or the tow bar, that is usually graphite grease, which is a very different matter.
