Following several years experience and a family background in the exterior cleaning and restoration industry we began to experiment with a myriad of solutions to clean various surfaces.
Many products containing damaging acids where readily available together with bleach type products.
The cleaning acids tend to damage some surfaces (long term), which generated a negative vibe to us, so we tried and tested some of the sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda) and bleach type products on the market.
Cleaning with bleach (Sodium Hypochlorite) seemed to be a great idea, however after several tests we realised that, if applied too strong it can damage stone, by turning it darker and with wood/timber it can turn it yellow.
