CLEAN MICROWAVE: Cut a lemon in half and place cut-side-up in a ceramic dish with a little cold water; put dish in microwave and put on full power for 1 minute; remove and throw away lemon; a great way to de-odourise microwave and banish stale food smells.
REMOVE DRIED CANDLE WAX FROM CARPET: Place sheet of heavy-duty paper kitchen towel over candle wax and apply iron on low-medium heat, over paper kitchen towel until wax has melted and has stuck to underside of paper kitchen towel.
