Clean carpets and furnishings are healthy carpets and furnishings - it's that simple! Just as the clothes we wear need regular washing to keep them fresh and hygienic, carpets and upolstered furniture require periodic cleaning too. Cleaning costs are minimal when you consider the replacement cost of such items, so regular cleaning makes sound economic sense too.

From your first contact with us, depending on your circumstances we will always recommend our FREE no obligation on site Carpet Care Survey. As with our carpet cleaning service we will always recommend our FREE, no obligation on site upholstery survey.

From your first contact with us, depending on your circumstances we will always recommend our FREE no obligation on site Carpet Care Survey.
By carrying out a proper survey, this will enable us to cost up the work involved correctly, to realise your expectations and achieve the best possible cleaning results, by using the correct cleaning methods.
The price we quote is the price you pay.
There are NO hidden extras.
We will first carry out various tests to establish the actual fibre content and construction of the carpet.
As with our carpet cleaning service we will always recommend our FREE, no obligation on site upholstery survey.
By carrying out a proper survey, this will enable us to cost up the work correctly, to realise your expectations and achieve the best possible cleaning results, by using the correct cleaning method.
Before we can attempt to clean your suite, we need to know what fibre or blend of fibres the fabric covering consists of.
This may be as easy as obtaining information from a label attached to the base of a chair or settee.
This is essential to the care and maintenance of your leather furniture.
Dust, dirt and oils over time, break down the protective coating of your leather.
Regular cleaning will also maintain the leathers' moisture balance, thus keeping it supple and resistant to spills and staining.
When cleaning leather, it is vitally important we establish what type you have, and this is where once again we recommend our free, no obligation on-site survey.
Not only will we be able to identify the leather type, but also take into account any problem areas, defects and damage to the hide and advise accordingly.
After the cleaning process, carpets and upholstery are left slightly damp.
We make every effort to ensure your carpets are left as dry as possible, this very much depends on the degree of soilage, conditions and type of fabric and carpet pile length.
Where appropriate turbo dryers will be used to speed up drying times, and in this instance carpets and furniture are virtually dry before we leave.
We move the furniture where necessary, unless you tell us not to.
However, we do ask you to remove any breakables from the cleaning area, if possible.
Don't panic, accidents will happen.
If you do spill something on your carpet, by taking prompt action you will avoid staining and possibly permanent damage.
You will need some clean white absorbent cloth or kitchen roll, and the 4 basic cleaning solutions I have detailed below.
One teaspoonful of gentle washing powder suitable for washing woollens to half a pint (0.75 litres) of warm water.
One teaspoonful of branded household ammonia (available form your local hardware store), to one cup of warm water.
