Services
Clarity Window Cleaning Ltd was established in 1990 by Andrew Bowen.
As an ex merchant navy officer Andrew views his business as he would a ship and likes to run a well maintained operation.
Over the years Clarity Window Cleaning has expanded considerably and continues to carry out a first class service to numerous well known commercial contracts and domestic properties throughout Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Ringwood, Verwood, West Moors, Wimborne, Ferndown, Wareham, Blandford and surrounding rural areas.
Andy is the boss!
He works very hard both window cleaning, gutter vacuuming and making sure vans, equipment and water purifier are all working smoothly.
He loves working out problems and will always find a way to clean even very awkward areas.
Toni takes care of the office so give her a ring or e-mail and she will do her best to help.
Dave has been with us for a number of years and lives locally so you may have seen him driving around in the lime green van, he is interested in motorcycling and sailing and will always find time to have a chat.
There will always be a need for the traditional method of window cleaning to be used, mainly for the cleaning of interior windows, which limits the use of water and reduces the risk of damage to office equipment.
We are highly experienced over the past 25 years in the technique of using an applicator and squeegee and work in the most efficient manner to avoid as little disruption as possible to staff.
We also make use of the new micro fibre polishing clothes for much of our internal work to minimize the risk of water damage to internal decorations, electrics etc.
We prefer to purify our own water at our premises to ensure it is the best quality, rather than buying from outside sources.
Mains water is firstly softened before running through a bank of solids filters.
It is then pumped at high pressure through three reverse osmosis membranes before being deionised in a resin bed.
We then bulk store the water ready to be pumped into the van tanks as required.
Our vehicles are equipped with pumps and up to 100-metres of micro-bore hoses to send the water to the carbon fibre poles up to a height of 60-feet from the safety of the ground.
Before we commence any cleaning work we will visit your premises and carryout a thorough Risk Assessment and Method Statement in full compliance of the latest regulations.
The regulations state that work should not be carried out from ladders if a risk assessment shows that a reasonable alternative method can be used.
In the window cleaning industry we now have water fed poles which means there is now little requirement to work from ladders.
The customer must ensure that no work is carried out at height unless there is no other safe and practical way in which to carry out the job or you could be prosecuted by the Health and Safety Executive.
